THE FUZI REPORT©®:

Saturday, March 29th, 2008 - 10am - My Car

Upon reflection, I'm thinking... I'm sure gonna miss my hair.

10:30am - Trinity Hall Pub

For brunch I have 1/2 a pint of "liquid courage".

All the chickas take their last chance to run their fingers through my lovely locks. AAHHHHHH!!

My pop comes out to enjoy seeing his boy get sheared. The same boy that held on to that mullet well after the mullet craze was over.

11am - The Horror Begins

"And our next victim, I mean volunteer is...."
At this point I was able to mention, thanks to my friends, family and co-workers, I raised $1,370. Well above my goal of only $1,000.

"For this haircut we are about to receive, may we be truly thankful....."

And it begins...

"hmm.... I wonder if it's too late to change my mind..."

"I guess so...."

Then finally a little clean up.

11:08am - Finally See Who My REAL Friends Are

So I'm sitting up there with my newly ventilated hairdo, when the auction lady hollers out words no guy wants to hear...
"And how much can we get for the beard!!"
Now, I can't remember when my chin has seen the light of day. Even Donna pipes up from the crowd, "We've never seen him with out it!!!"

"Can I get $100 for the beard???" Next thing I know, all my supposed "friends" are tossing up $20 bills. Even my own father!!!!

So off it comes...

What a strange sensation, my chin is cold.

Sarcastically I say, "Do you want the eyebrows too???".
"What can I get for the eyebrows???" Crap!! "I WAS KIDDING!!!!!"

And there ya go. That's how you raise $1,470 for children's cancer research. Fairly painless.

That's my boy!

And the chickas dig it too!!

11:30am - The Down Side

It's a little disappointing to think you're gonna look like a famous movie star...

...but in reality....

...you look like you're ready for your audition for The Mr. Happy Clown Show.

But seriously, thanks for much for your support and helping me raise $1,470. I know our 40+ group of 'shavees' at the Trinity Hall Pub raised over $90,000; and that doesn't include all the spontaneous auctions for beards. :)
